The agreement in brief

You must be 18 or over. Our pages compare and describe bookmakers; they are not betting advice and we never hold your money. Some outbound buttons earn us a fee, which never changes a ranking. Check every offer on the bookmaker’s own site before you deposit. Questions go to [email protected].

Who this agreement is between

The two sides are you, as a reader, and the operator of transparentbets.com:

Company
Meridune Media Group DMCC
Registered office
Mazaya Business Avenue BB1, Cluster BB, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Email
[email protected]

“We” and “us” below refer to that operator. Opening any page of the site counts as accepting this agreement together with our privacy policy. If you disagree with either, the remedy is simply to leave. Statutory protections owed to consumers anywhere in the United Kingdom survive whatever follows.

Age and location

TransparentBets addresses grown-up punters based in Great Britain. Under-18s are not welcome here, and no bookmaker licensed for the British market is allowed to accept their bets. Remote betting may only be offered to people in Great Britain by companies holding a licence from the Gambling Commission. If you read us from another country, the gambling rules there apply to you, and it is your job to know them.

Information, never a tip sheet

Comparisons, odds snapshots, bookmaker reviews and explainers are published for general information. They do not take your finances or circumstances into account and are not a tip service or a promise of profit. We are not a bookmaker: no account is opened, no deposit taken and no bet settled by us. Every wager you place is a contract with the operator alone, governed by its terms.

Odds, offers and licence entries

Prices on the site show what we last saw, not a live feed. Welcome offers are summarised from the operator’s published conditions and licences are looked up on the Gambling Commission register, each with a check date. Operators can alter a price, an offer or their licence position at any moment and are under no duty to tell us. When our page and the bookmaker’s page differ, the bookmaker’s version is the one that counts. The limits of our reviews are spelled out on Before you bet.

Bookmaker buttons generally pass through a /go/ address, which lets the operator tell that the visitor came from us. If you then open an account, a commission may be paid to us. That does not alter the offer you receive, and positions in our tables are not for sale; Commissions and independence has the detail. Links to the regulator, support charities and other outside sites are given for convenience only, and those sites answer for their own content.

Copyright and trade marks

Our wording, page design, own photographs and the TransparentBets name are owned by the operator or licensed to it. Borrowing a sentence or two is fine, provided TransparentBets is named and linked. Republishing whole pages, copying our tables in bulk or scraping the site by script needs our written agreement first. Each bookmaker’s name and logo is its owner’s trade mark, shown here purely to identify the brand under review.

Where our responsibility ends

We try hard to be accurate, but so far as the law of England and Wales allows, we are not liable for money you lose betting, for decisions a bookmaker takes about your account (withheld payouts, voided bets, closures, verification demands) or for periods when pages fail to load. This agreement leaves untouched any liability which a trader is not permitted to shut out, with fraud and negligent harm to a person’s life or body at the head of that list.

Staying in control

Set a limit before you deposit and stick to it; treat betting as paid entertainment. GAMSTOP blocks you from all British-licensed gambling sites with one free registration. The National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133 around the clock, and BeGambleAware lists treatment services near you. They are independent organisations and cannot forward messages to TransparentBets.

Updates and governing law

We amend this agreement whenever our features or the legal position move, and the “Last reviewed” stamp in the header records the most recent edit. English and Welsh law governs it, and readers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may still bring proceedings in their own courts.

Writing to us

Questions about this agreement, or a tip that an offer or licence on our pages is out of date, can be sent to [email protected]. Please do not send passwords, card details or identity documents: we cannot see or act on any bookmaker account.
