The controller behind TransparentBets
The controller is Meridune Media Group DMCC, Mazaya Business Avenue BB1, Cluster BB, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, contactable at [email protected]. TransparentBets has no accounts, comments, newsletter or forms. In practice, then, personal data here means the technical details a browser transmits with each page request, plus anything you decide to tell us by email.
Information that reaches us
- Access logs. Our hosting provider and content delivery network record the IP address, browser type, page requested, referring page and time of each request.
- Redirect clicks. When you use a
/go/button, the redirect service records which button was pressed, when, and the identifier held inmz_vid; without it we could not tie a commission back to the page that produced it. - Emails. A message to us arrives with its sender address and its text, nothing more.

The site runs no Google Analytics or other third-party analytics, no advertising pixels and no session-recording tools. Bookmakers you continue to after leaving us apply cookie policies of their own. Switching our cookies off, or wiping them, breaks nothing on the site.
Why we use it and on what basis
Access logs, mz_vid and mz_src rest on legitimate interests under the UK GDPR: keeping the site secure, learning which sources send us visitors and reconciling the commissions described on Commissions and independence. Emails are used only to reply. No profiling of visitors takes place, and no decision about anyone is taken by automated means.
Recipients and processors
Our hosting, delivery and redirect providers process data on our instructions. A bookmaker you reach from our button receives a code identifying TransparentBets, not your name. Police, courts or regulators receive data from us solely under a binding legal demand, and no reader data is ever sold.
Retention periods
Cookie lifetimes are shown in the table. Logs survive just as long as security monitoring and commission checks demand, then disappear; an email thread is erased after the query is closed. Any provider working with data beyond British borders does so under recognised transfer safeguards.
Exercising your rights
Under UK data protection law you can request a copy of whatever we hold about you, fix mistakes in it, have it wiped, freeze our use of it, take it away as a machine-readable file and object to uses we base on legitimate interests. Complaints may also be lodged with the Information Commissioner’s Office or with the data protection regulator in your own country.

The site is not aimed at anyone under 18, and any data we learn belongs to a minor is erased.
